After witnessing a granddaughter's beautiful wedding in Denver at the end of July, Rotarian Michal spent the next 10 days exploring Colorado without snow. Except for some wa-a-ay high white stuff in Rocky Mountain National Park, there was no snow. Weather was generally as hot as an un-greased griddle, and there was no rain. A lot of haze from wildfire smoke… Despite the lack of cool mountain air, Michal was undaunted. She managed to enjoy the following locations: Rocky Mountain NP, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP (both rims), Colorado National Monument, a train ride from Durango to Silverton, and a couple of days at Mesa Verde. There were many "signs" of local Rotary Clubs, but none were on the itinerary. Lots of memories, photos & videos, just three of which are attached:
