With Joni Thompson's resignation as President, the Board
agreed to utilize interim MCs
through the last three months of the year: 
Steve Schroeder - April
Michal Hubbard - May
Mike Goebel - June 
Vicky Lindsey will then assume her Presidency,
as scheduled, on July 1, 2025.
Bastrop Rotarians Dave Wells, Karen Trevino (and Darrell!), Steve Schroeder, and Michal Hubbard spent a couple of hours Sunday afternoon delivering and assembling bunkbeds to two homes in Bastrop.  We had some camera-shy kids, but a couple of boys and one young lady now have their very own bed!
Thank you to all who came out. 
And very big thank you to Evelyn and Ed Petrere of the Georgetown Club for being our "red shirts"
on this first delivery adventure.
 
We will have another opportunity in the future! 
We have at least 16 families in Bastrop County already approved
for beds through SHP and waiting for us to deliver their bunkbeds!

We had a great lunch a couple of weeks ago at the Hands Up High Ministry.  Rosa Nava gave us the "$25 tour", including the accommodations they have prepared for kids trying to finish high school whose parents are no longer with them for a variety of reasons.
We were able to donate $500 to the Ministry last week.  Thank you for being magical Rotarians.
Rotarian Rick Nall had set up the meeting, and he delivered our donation to Pastor Nava.

James "Scooter" Green received his Rotary coffee mug from Rotarian Vicky Lindsey after last week's meeting. Mr. Green is a commissioner on the newly approved Emergency Services District #3 in Bastrop County. This ESD will be focused on provided emergency medical services.
