Rotarian Michal Hubbard provided last Tuesday's program, giving a biographic overview of three women who helped settle the wilderness that became Bastrop County: Margaret Barker Wilbarger Chambers, Mary Buchanan Christian Burleson, and Harriet Craft Haldeman Taylor.
