We enjoy Raymond's good hospitality at the 602 Brewing Company again this Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Our speaker will be Josh Thomas, of LCRA.
The Club did a great job of providing breakfast to the staff at Colorado River Collegiate Academy (CRCA) & Genesis H.S. last Friday. The spread included tacos, fruit, yogurts, casseroles, homemade biscuits, sausage, bagels, schmears(??), juices, Halloween cookies & other treats! We even provided supplies to upgrade their coffee bar!
Many thanks to all who contributed & showed up to help serve.

Rotarians Sharah & David Johnson brought Anna Dreves as a guest last Tuesday. Anna was a Rotary exchange student from Germany 25 years ago, who stayed with the Johnson's & attended Smithville HS. Today, Anna is a social justice attorney living in New York City. She credits her time in Bastrop County, & her experience with a Rotarian family, with influencing her choice of profession. Anna spoke with several Rotarians, including Bo Reynolds.
Kim Kankel, District Public Image Chair, visited last Tuesday to recognize the Club for its Public Image accomplishments. Michal Hubbard, PI Chair,
accepted the 1925-26 “Rock Star” banner on behalf of Bastrop County Rotary Club. The banner is awarded to clubs which have completed a series of public image tasks recommended by the District PI team.
