The Rise Against Hunger food packaging event with the Rotary Club of Austin is just around the corner. The event will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Casa Chapala Restaurant located at 9041 Research Blvd #100 beginning at 8:30AM.
There will be 3 shifts, with Shift 1 being from 8:30-10:30AM, Shift 2 10:30AM-12:30PM and Shift 3 12:30-2:30PM. We have 34 volunteers so far and need 90, so needing 56 more volunteers. Sign up at the link below now to insure you get to participate in this fun event.
There is only room for 30 volunteers per shift. This event fills up quickly, so register quickly. Please note that the registration form is down the page on the registration website. There is also a "Donate Now" button at the top of the page. A donation is NOT required to attend. Rise Against Hunger is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and they are always looking for more funding. The Rotary Club of Austin Foundation is donating for the cost of the event so you don't have to. If you want to though, you may.
